To give a room of aesthetic appearance, subject to the modest budget, it is customary to use the panels from a different kind of materials. But despite all the noncainting of the finish, which seems at first glance, this method is very practical, because it does not require aligning the surface of the walls. Let's deal with how to mount the wall panels.
Select the installation method of wall panels is needed depending on their material, so we will understand what they happen:- Plastic panels. The most popular are PVC panels. Today they are already better quality compared to the first samples - do not yellow, they do not display glare from light, there are both single and multi-colored, matte and mirrored, with textured and 3D pictures. The most important advantage of plastic products in front of other panels is in water resistance.
- Wooden panels. For their manufacture, such expensive materials such as oak, alder, cedar or maple are used. They are processed by protective compositions, so they can be attached to the kitchen or bathroom. There are more budget versions of such panels on the construction market. They are made of combined wood: the base layer is made of expensive rocks, and a cheap material is applied to the rest. As a rule, this is a spruce or pine.
- Panels from fiberboard. Products are convenient for care and are characterized by durability. But although they are resistant to a humid environment, but their direct contact with water is not desirable.
- Panels from chipboard. They are recommended to be used exclusively in rooms with a dry climate, since the material does not react to moisture and temperature drops. In addition, when processing, it can crumble.
- Panels from MDF. Thanks to the used technology of pressing fine chips, the panel can be placed in any rooms, regardless of the humidity level. Without problems with such a surface, you can hang the shelves, since the panels from MDF are withstanding heavy loads.
Schip-groin-groove technology:
- For a start, it creates a lamp by attaching on the wall of wooden planks using a screws.
- By one level, the foreground planes are displayed.
- When creating a cage, its frequency is selected, based on the shape and sizes of the panels: for rush and leafy - 40-60 cm, for tile products, the distance is 10 cm less compared to their length.
- Panels are attached to the laminations of the crate. This uses special brackets that are called clemmers, or parquet nails.

Thus, when buying wall panels, you must pay attention to the material from which they are made and on their form. It depends on the most important thing - how they will be attached to the surface - "Schip-groove", "groove-groove", profile or adhesive way.
