Today, it is unlikely to surprise someone to a pool in the country area - they are encountered everywhere and there are several types: light inflatable and stationary. Inflatable pools are very comfortable: they do not occupy a lot of space, it is easy to transfer them, and you can remove them at all. Stationary pools are characterized by large sizes and the possibility of equipping additional equipment. But, despite all its advantages, they are not so simple to use them. Due to high sides or considerable depths, it is very difficult to get inside the pool and enjoy all its charms, especially it concerns young children and people of old age. To solve this problem, you can build a staircase, but it should be remembered here that in addition to external beauty it should be reliable, durable and safe.
1
For the construction of the stairs you will need:
metal pipes or corners;
bulgarian or feet;
saw on metal;
welding machine.
2
Before moving to the construction of the stairs, you should decide on its appearance, form and method of fastening:
If you have an inflatable pool with high sides, then experts advise to use a bilateral staircase, on one side of which you will climb the side, and on the other to go down into the water.
The ladder-stepping, the appearance of which is very similar to the letter "A", is also ideal for use in conjunction with frame basins. One side is based on the soil, and the other on the bottom of the pool.
If you want to equip a landline pool, the bowl of which is located in the ground, the Roman staircase is best for you, the steps of which have a rounded shape and make the descent to the water very smooth. Such stairs are appropriate or mounted to the bottom and walls of the pool.
You can also choose a staircase, the installation of which is carried out after the construction of the pool bowl is completed. It is made in the form of a pyramid from the steps and handrails and is attached to the board of the bowl.

Deciding with the type of stairs you need, you can proceed to work. It should be started with cutting a metal profile into pieces of the desired size. For the manufacture of steps, use thick metal pipes or an 8-10 centimeters width corner. If this is not taken into account - they will work very thin, and you will be very inconvenient to descend and climb them. The optimal width of the staircase is 60-70 centimeters, it is equal to the length of the length. In order to calculate the height of the future staircase, measure the distance from the bottom of the bowl to the top of its board, if the skeleton pool - it is necessary to add 30-40 centimeters to this magnitude.
4
After the workpieces are prepared - proceed to assembly work. It is best to connect structural elements with a welding machine if you do not have it - use galvanized bolts. On the pipe that will be used as the base of the stairs, through each 35-40 centimeters, apply labels - these are the places of fastening of steps. If you plan to mount them with bolts - first drill holes in their edges, and then in marked places on the basis. To connect these elements with each other, use metal corners. In order to reduce the sliding legs along the steps, use special rubber overlays that need to be fixed on their surface.
5
After all parts of the design are interconnected, carefully treat the entire surface with the grinding machine or the appliance. This is done in order to remove sharp burrs that can cause a cut. Having finished with stripping, with welding or special plugs, close all the holes in the stairs. In order for the design to serve you for many years, it is recommended to cover it with waterproof paint or any other protective composition. For this, Hammerite, Futura Teknos or VD-KCh-124 is perfectly suitable. Repeat this procedure follows annually.
Now you know how to make a staircase for the pool on your own, but if you have no time to do it - you can always purchase and install the finished product.
