The connection of gas in a private house is often complicated and delayed: unlike an apartment building, you will have to execute all the documentation and follow the process yourself. However, it is worth it. You get a well-heard house, hot water, as well as an increase in the cost of real estate, because at home with a gas pipeline is much more profitable for the buyer in the future. What options of gas supply exist?
You can allocate three options to which owners of houses are resorted by:
- Connecting to the total gas pipeline. This is the most common option when your house simply attach pipes to the highway and bring them inside. The gas supply will be uninterrupted, which is quite convenient, and you will exercise utility payments together with all the others;
- Cylinders. It is a less convenient option, but it will have to resort if the highway is too far away from your home, or the first option is not available to you for any other reasons. Cylinders are designed for a small territory, you need to change them in a timely manner, as well as install an additional gas pumping system;
- Own Gazgolder. This is an expensive gas storage. It is usually installed in very large houses, where the main gas is not carried out for any reason.
First, find out which of these options is preferable for you. Of course, most owners want to connect to a trunk wire, but this is not always feasible.
What documents are needed to connect gas?
If you bring the cylinder for the furnace, it is possible to completely legal and without any permissions, the installation of a gas producer or a connection to the gas pipeline is a rather complex process for which documentation is needed.
First of all, you need to prove that real estate on Earth is worth, and it is residential.
- Take a certificate of right to your home;
- Technical documentation, namely, passport;
- Cadastral plan, which can be obtained if you do not have it;
- Your passport and the Inn;
- Perhaps it will be necessary to reduce and sign up all other residents of the house, which are officially registered in it.
This is the first stage on the gas connection path. As soon as you collect these documents, you can proceed to the next step.
Development of the plan and installation of equipment
To carry out a gas pipeline, you need to have a specific plan for its wiring, which will meet all security conditions and specifications. Unfortunately, the preparation of such plans is not free, they are engaged in specialists.
Another important point is the equipment: boiler, chimney, convector and others. You will first have to establish them, but only then get gas permit, as specialists should make sure that your equipment is correct. If you are not sure of your choice, then first contact the gas service and ask them.
After that you can contact the planning service at the place of your residence and get permission to the gas wire. At this stage, you may need to sign up your neighbors if the gas pipeline adjacent to their territory.
Submission of applications
Now that you have a gas wire permission and all the necessary technical documents for real estate, you can start the last step - getting another permission from utilities or fire services.
Specialists must come to your home and perform all the necessary checks. After that you will get approval.
In the gas service you must come with such a package of documentation:
- Gas permission to your home;
- Acts about the checker of the chimney of utilities or the fire service;
- Gasification plans if you have;
- Documents on all equipment that you installed for gas;
- Technical documents on the apartment, which are listed in the second paragraph of the article.
Fifteen days from the date of filing, a specialist from the gas service will come to your house and check everything you need, and also perform measurements for installing the gas pipeline. After that you can wait for the installers.
