Here, several ways to grow primrose from seeds are considered.

1
First, a little general information:

  • only fresh seeds move well;
  • prigu seeds should be collected in late July-August;
  • the worst enemy of primrose is the heat and drought;

Now about landing. At the very end of autumn, we take a plastic container with a hole in the bottom:

  • Fill in fertile soil.
  • We lay the seeds on a slightly loosened upper layer at a distance from each other at 10-15 mm.
  • We tighten the ground slightly, moisturize with the help of a spray gun. We tighten the container with plastic wrap or cover with a lid.
  • We carry out seed stratification. We instill a container with seeds in the garden so that its sides are on the same level with the ground.
  • In the spring, the container is not removed from the ground, just open the lid and moisten the soil well.
  • As soon as the seedlings reach 10 mm of height, we dive them, placing them in some shady corner of the garden.
  • With the onset of autumn, we transfer the primrose to the allotted place for them.

You can start breeding primrose in January:

  • Put the seeds on gauze moistened in water. We place all this in a plastic container or a jar with a lid.
  • We place dishes in a place where the temperature does not rise above +15 degrees.
  • After 7 days, we check if the seeds have stolen. If not, then put the container in the refrigerator for 14 days.
  • If not a single sprouted seed was found in the refrigerator after 2 weeks, then we return the dishes for a week to a warm place.
  • We repeat the procedure again, and even if after that there is no result, then these seeds are either very old or poorly ripened. In any case, it makes no sense to mess with them further.
  • We transfer the material to the steaming material to moist soil, sprinkle 1 mm with a layer of sand, covered with glass, i.e. A kind of micro -fuel is created.
  • After the emergence of seedlings from the container, we remove the shelter and place it on the windowsill. At the same time, it is important to prevent direct sunlight.
  • We plant seedlings in the spring, when it is not very hot. Primes will bloom for the next year.

When it is supposed to dilute several varieties of primrose, then each type needs to be sown in a separate container, and then put everything in the refrigerator irrationally. To save space and get good seedlings, there is one original way:

  1. We use the usual sponge to which the dishes are washed. The best one who has small pores and a dense substrate.
  2. In the sponge we make slots, the depth of which is equal to half the thickness of the foam. We put seeds in these “furrows”.
  3. Moisturize the "bed" and put it in a bag.
  4. Further, as usual - 7 days at 15 degrees, 14 days in the refrigerator, then according to circumstances.

It is not difficult to get the sprouted seeds from the sponge, it is enough to moisten the tip of the toothpick and with the help of this simple tool to transfer them to the soil.

And in conclusion: by choosing one of the methods of growing a primrose from the seeds, plant this beautiful flower in your garden. Show patience and care - and every year he will notify you of the arrival of spring.
