How to restore deleted files from a flash drive

When you connect a flash drive to a computer and with further work, such a nuisance may occur as a complete or partial deletion of data from the flash drive. A number of aspects can be served such an outcome: a possible virus or a trojan that destroyed data or incorrect actions of the user itself. We will not deepen in all sorts of reasons, but we turn directly to restore remote files from the flash drive.

After deleting data it is important to know that it is extremely recommended to produce any manipulations with a flash drive. This means that you do not need to copy new files there, delete old or create folders on the media. The fact is that after making the above actions (especially after downloading new files), the probability of recovery of lost files is significantly reduced. If some operations were still produced, you can try to reanimate the files below methods. But the chance of a positive success, as mentioned above, will be much lower.

File recovery can be restored only with third-party programs, in the staff of Windows such an opportunity is not provided. One of the programs that can restore lost files is the Recuva utility. It is free, and thanks to it you can return the files of any formats. After it is started, choosing the item "All files" (other) and click on "Next".

The utility will request the location from which all data was erased. We find the "in apecific location" graph (in the specified place) and specify the inserted USB flash drive.

For an enhanced result, activate the "Enable Deep Scan" command in the next step. Using it, the probability of restoring remote files is higher, but also the scanning speed is increasing.

The final search result can be performed in three versions. A red icon notifies that the file cannot be restored, yellow - that the file can be reanimated partially, and green - that the file is completely subject to recovery.

The following program, which also nice restores lost files - DMDE. After it is started, a window will appear with the provision of a carrier selection in which scanning will be performed. We are looking for a flash drive and stop the choice on it.

Click "Open Tom" and find the item "All Found + Reconstruction". We agree to the reconstruction of the data. After its end, you can restore the found files, but in the free version, it can be done only one by one.

And the last utility having the same features is the R.Saver program. Running, she scan all drives, including a USB flash drive. Select the desired section and right-click on "Search Lost Data".

After the reconstruction process is completed, the utility will display all sorts of files that can be restored. You can save the reanimated files in the following way: it is enough to highlight the file of interest (or folder) and copy it to the desired partition.

After the recovery procedure was made, make changes to the USB flash drive, of course, it is possible. In some cases, it is recommended to use several programs at once to increase the search efficiency and resuscitation of the desired file.
