How to restore Windows

Windows operating system has in its arsenal, among other things, the function of self-healing. It will have to be quite high in cases of the occurrence of negatively affecting the work of changes in the configuration of the computer or the system itself, the causes of which may be incorrect operation of certain drivers and programs, viral software, etc. Let us consider in more detail how this function works and how to make it Windows.

1
The Windows Recovery feature suggests a rollback (refund) to a specific system configuration. Enable / disable system recovery and you can configure it in the System Properties (System Protection Tab). In the same menu, you can manually create a new recovery point, and in the settings window there is a special button to delete all saved recovery configurations.

2
Here is the system recovery button. This is the easiest way. It will automatically be asked to restore to the last point, but you can select manually and other saved configuration. After confirming Windows recovery, the system will roll back and the computer will restart.

3
In cases where there are problems with the work of Windows and there is no possibility to use the way the method described above, try downloading the system in safe mode (this is a lightweight option to start the OS, without additional services and programs). To do this, at the very beginning of the launch, click the F8 key and select the appropriate option from the proposed. After loading, we try to restore as described in clause 2.

4
If problems arise and with the launch of Windows in a safe mode, there is a way to restore the system using boot disk or flash drives. To do this, choose in Bios. Download from a CD / DVD-drive or USB drive (First Boot Device - [CDROM] or [USB-HDD], respectively), and after it began following step-by-step instructions for restoring the system. This process is generally not very different from the above described above.

By resorting to the above instructions, you can restore Windows to the parameters in which the system worked correctly. We recommend checking whether the system security protection service is enabled, which allows you to create recovery points, and make manually at least one such point that you can later use to restore the system to avoid the complete reinstall OS in the event of critical problems in its operation.
