How to install a widget?

The use of all kinds of widgets made the use of mobile and stationary devices even more comfortable. The diversity of applications allows you to establish a variety of widgets in accordance with the exact user needs. The visual element of the desktop is a widget - provides basic information of its application without the need to go to the latter.

Installing Widgets in Windows

Installation of convenient and useful widgets is possible in Windows. Depending on the version of the system there are differences in this procedure.

Widgets for Windows 7

The advantage of this version of the OS is the presence of a pre-installed package of gadgets. System widgets can be found like this:

Go to the section "Start". Next appeal to all programs and find the collection of gadgets for the desktop.
An alternative way is to click on the right mouse button on the free field of the desktop and select the "Gadgets" string among the points.

You will appear table with all the widgets that are in the system. To display the desired gadget, you must click on it with the right mouse button and select "Add".

If you did not find the necessary element in the proposed list of widgets, download it from the expanses of the Internet. The file you need should have the extension .gadget.

Run the game you like the gadget.
Click the "Install" key and a new widget will appear on the desktop.

Widgets for Windows 8, Windows 10

The feature of the OS data is that they have no built-in widget support. However, even from such a situation there is an output.

Download and install one of the proposed utilities - 8GadgetPack or Desktopgadgets ( Utilities).

The installation process is standard, while it is necessary to carefully read everything that the program offers. Pay special attention to items in which Yandex appears and do not agree to blindly with everything that offer you.

After installing the utility, you can click on the right mouse button on the desktop screen and detect the "Gadgets" string in the list.
Click on it. By default, about 27 widgets will be presented.
Next, click on the right key to the necessary item and select "Add". If there are no necessary widget among the specified widgets - download it separately (as for Windows 7).

Installation of Widgets on Android

You can choose both the widgets pre-installed by the developer and downloaded items. To load the latter enough:

Go to googlePlay.
Enter the necessary widget in the search string (for example, "Weather Widget" or "Widget Currency Course").
Press the Install key.

Now the collection of the widgets of your device has been replenished with another element. To install the interface item, you must:

Go to the Device menu and find the item "Widgets", "Applications and Widgets" or "Add Widget".

Or you can touch your finger free from any field pictograms on the desktop. Hold your finger until the menu items appear.

Holding your finger the item you need, drag it to the working field of the mobile device.

Installing widgets on iOS devices

Go to Mobile Gadget Settings and find the "Notifications" section.
Here you are interested in the "Allow notifications" string, the slider is about which it is necessary to translate into an active position. Otherwise, the widget will look like an active reference, and not as a visual element.
Turn on the mobile device again.
Lower the top "shutter" screen. At the bottom of the bookmark "Today" find the "Change" field.
Now you see all the widgets that are on this iOS device.
