Parktronic is a device that scans the obstacles in a limited visibility area for the car driver, and warning about the sound and light signal. Parking radar greatly facilitates parking in difficult conditions of the city, especially for novice car enthusiasts. However, many experienced car owners are skeptical about its installation. Motorists, on the cars of which there is a regular installation of parking sensors on the conveyor, do not regret it at all. It is not difficult to install the parking sensors, and the independent installation will cost much cheaper than buying a car already equipped with a parking radar.

We establish a classic parking sensor on 6 sensors (2 on the front bumper, 4 - on the rear). It is necessary to mark the sensor. To do this, you need to know the recommended height of the sensors from the ground and their radius of action. In the instructions, these numbers must be specified. Remove the bumper to take into account its design, you need to start marking from extreme sensors. The distance between the extreme sensors should be divided into equal segments, mark the places for the remaining 2 sensors with a pencil.

Make the cutting hole, strictly perpendicular to the surface of the bumper. Sensors must be installed horizontally without deviations up, down or side. Sensors Mount to holes from the outside, the wires must be inside. Secure sensors from the inside with special rings.

The wires of sensors are assembled in the harness and secure the insulating tape, connect with standard wires located in the bumper. Wires must pass inside the car through the technological hole. On the rear bumper - inside the trunk, on the front - inside the hood. Then you need to put the bumper in place and secure the regular fastening. Everything is installed in the same way on the front bumper.

Control unit connect to wire reversing lamps. Polarity should be strictly observed. The display can be fixed anywhere, the main thing is that it is well visible to the driver. It can be consolidated by bilateral scotch. Wires stretched through the entire interior of the car must be hidden under the mats to avoid damage. Before installing the control unit, the selected place for its installation must be wiped with a solvent and wipe well. The unit must be attached to two-way scotch, then check the system.
