How to remove the buttons on the laptop

With long, and even more so not very careful use of the laptop, problems with keys often occur. They can well click, "shindle", or even some keys can break. The reason for this is in the keyboard. To eliminate such a problem or simply for the preventive cleaning of the laptop keyboard, it is not necessary to run into the workshop, remove the buttons and clean everything can be at home.

Unlike the old technology, on the modern keyboard the flat button. In most keyboards, the keys design is almost the same, consists of four parts. The upper part, that is, the button itself, it is a plate with two grooves and a latch on the underside. Two thin lever are attached to it (interconnected in the central part). It turns out the design in the form of a swing. In this design, there are still four pins included in the grooves on the board of the keyboard itself. Returnable key movement provides a special silicone spring, on its inside there is a protrusion, thanks to which the keyboard-based contacts are closed.

To remove the buttons you need a thin screwdriver, preferably with a curved end, and toothpick. You need to work with a laptop off! The process of removing the keys is more convenient to start from the bottom of the keyboard. Work very gently and neatly, without a rush and extra effort.

The process itself: we like the bottom edge of the key curved end of the screwdriver, smoothly and carefully remove the lower keys levers from the keyboard slots. To do this, smoothly press the junction of the mustache - they will come out of the grooves, thereby freeing the lower edge of the button.

Often small keys after done manipulation pop up. If not, you can easily remove the top plate of the button with your fingers or with the help of a tweezers.

The mechanism of the large space key is slightly different from small buttons. It consists of two latches along the edges and an additional reinforcing latch, located along the entire length of the key. Therefore, the process of removing the space button starts from disconnecting the amplifiers on the sides of the button, then remove the amplifiers from the bottom edge of the button (left to right). And then everything is like with small keys.

After the process of removal of the keys, it is necessary to rinse well enough not only the buttons themselves, but also the entire keyboard mechanism. To remove dirt from the mechanism, the toothpick and ear sticks are suitable, buttons themselves can be washed with soapy water. Be sure to dry all the details before assembly!
