First of all, you need to decide on the size of the postcard. It may be a banal A4 or A5, a giant A2 or miniature A8. In this case, the size certainly does not matter. To decorate a big greeting card longer, and in a small one will not work out all your congratulatory words.

Let us dwell on the size A4. On a dense dark color cardboard (burgundy, purple) glue a smaller colored paper. You must have a frame from the bottom layer, and the tone of the paper should be a little lighter cardboard. On the principle of colored paper, we stick a beautiful packaging paper for even smaller size. Packaging paper can be replaced by scrap paper for greater effect.
