How to calculate the pumping station

Living in a private house is good, but if the water supply is arranged in an old manner, then household inconvenience can be reduced to "no" all the charms of country life.

When calculating the pump well, consider how deeply water will be supplied to the house, and how high the most extreme point of water intake is high. The easiest calculation of the pumping station consists in the usual multiplication of certain values. With such a simplified calculation, the total length in meters is accepted for the amount of liters of water in minutes. Then at hour the station should produce 3.18 cubic meters of water - this will be the desired station performance (according to the method: 53 meters multiply by 60 minutes and divide for a thousand). By adding to this number of interest 20 for the reserve, it will turn out almost 3.82, and then rounding this value to an integer - 4, you can go to the store for automatics to supply water to the house.

The station, which will need to be purchased, should issue 4 cube of water per hour. The stock of 20% is needed in order to suddenly want to put an additional water device in the house, such as dishwasher.

The standard pumping station will work without any problems if the water near the house is at the depth of suction to 10 m. If the well or well have a water mirror below than 10 meters, then the problem of water supply may be aggravated. We will have to buy a specialized station of "deep fence" of water, which will cost many times more. And you can mount a separate submersible pump in the well, which will ensure the accumulation of water in the additional tank in the basement. Then the pumping station will "take" water directly from this tank, and not directly from the well.
