How to get a Pole map

Such a document, as the Map of the Pole was made in order to return part of the rights to citizens who have related roots in the Republic of Poland. Please note that this document is not a citizenship and does not give all rights, which are given in obtaining Polish citizenship. Who is issued a pole card

Citizens of other states that have relatives on the nationality of Poles or the former citizenship of Poland include such relatives: Mom, father, grandparents, great-grandmother, great-grandfather.

Also, you can also get a card if you have a certificate from the Polish organization on the confirmation of the active participation in the development of Polish language, the Policy of Culture or the maintenance of the Polish national minority for at least three years.

Please note the Map of Pole is available only for citizens of such countries: Republic of Armenia, Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Belarus, Estonian Republic, Georgia, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Lithuanian Republic, Latvian Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine or Republic of Uzbekistan. In a word, if you are a citizen of the country that is not in the list listed, then you can not get the card.

To obtain this document, you should not have a permanent residence permit in Poland, as well as Polish citizenship.

The Map of the Pole is issued strictly for ten years, after which the owner may apply for its extension at his own request.

The process of obtaining a map of the Pole

If you approach the criteria in the first step, then you will need such a package of documents:

• finding on receiving a Pole map. A sample of petition is always provided at the Consulate of Poland at the place of residence. This data is filled in the form: Your surname, name and patronymic; Date and place of birth; in what citizenship is; where they are constantly living; If you refer to the nationality of your relatives, then specify which one was the Pole and his personal data;
• a copy of your identity document;
• copies of all documents that confirm the information in the past. It is especially important to confirm the Polish origin of your relative. For this, the photocopies of his birth certificate are suitable for this, certificates, diplomas, documents, indicating the passage of military service in Polish detachments, a deportation document, about imprisonment or rehabilitation of deported. You need to find any information that are formally confirmed. If you are submitted on the basis of the document of the Polish organization about active participation in the development of culture and language, then attach it instead of information about a relative.

By collecting these documents, you need to personally come to the Consulate of Poland and serve the package. During the interview, the consul is obliged to check your knowledge of the Polish language - it is also a criterion for issuing a pole map. If all your documents are in order, and the knowledge of the language satisfies the consul, then the package you take.

Note the feed is free. Also, the Map of the Pole also does not provide for the consular fee. After consideration, you will be notified of the decision, and you will receive your document as well as at the Consulate of Poland.

Refusal to issue can persons who filed fake documents or pointed out false information about themselves and their close relatives. The Pole card is not issued to persons who were repatriated on the basis of contracts of 1945 - 1957.

The Pole card is made if the owner acts disrespectful in relation to the Republic of Poland and its citizens, as well as the country's culture and its language.

Can it get a map of the pole child

If one of the parents has a map, then his child can get it too. But for this, it is necessary to consent the second parent in the presence of the consul. Upon reaching the age of majority, the Pole card becomes invalid. To avoid this in advance, send a petition for the issuance of a pole card for ten years to your child.

What rights receives the owner of the Pole card

You will not get all the privileges of citizenship, but you will have more than a person with a temporary residence permit:

• the ability to repeatedly cross the border of the Republic of Poland for ten years
• cancel the need to obtain a work permit,
• permission to engage in entrepreneurial activities
• obtaining free education in Poland on a par with citizens of the country, with the opportunity to receive scholarships and benefits of a foreign citizen,
• free visit to the State Museums of Poland,
• free urgent medical care,
• can receive financial assistance to Poles abroad
• discount thirty-seven percent on railway trips to Poland.
