How to connect a washing machine to water

Once the washing machine has been connected to the sewer, you can start wrapping up the water. To work requires a flexible hose (comes complete with washing machine); ball valve; fitting «tee »; tape FUM; open-end wrench.

Decide on a place to connect a washing machine. If you have previously had a washing machine, the easiest way to install a new one in the same place and connected via an old tee. Otherwise, a frame can be carried out in water at the connection point of the drain tank of the toilet, washbasin mixer tap cold bath or shower, and at the conclusion of the mixer.

Shut off the water to the site of the aqueduct, on which you will perform the work. Prepare a bowl or other container for the water, because when disassembling the compounds of the tubes will leak water.

If the selected site has a connection through a flexible hose, for example, the water supply to the drain tank, set at the entrance of an additional T-piece with the necessary diameter to a water pipe, flexible hose and tank hose washing machine. In other cases it is necessary to carry out a frame, i.e., cut part of the water pipe and install a tee with suitable diameters for each edge.

Connect a water pipe tee. Set the tap water supply to overlap any edge of the flexible hose: in place of tap water pipe tee or input location in the washing machine. Connect the second end of the hose. Open the tap and check for leaks at the joints.

Recommendations, requirements and tips:

place for laying the hose should be less susceptible to mechanical stress;
length of the hose should be sufficient for its free position;
if the hose is stretched, it is necessary to extend or replace the longer;
tie in place of the flexible hose into the pipeline set the filter periodically clean or change it;
mock the FUM tape on the threads until the wind will have to use the effort;
each time after the operation of the washing machine is completed, overlap the water supply to the device.
