How to connect a gas cylinder to a gas stove

Not every home and the more suburban dacha are connected to the main gas. In such cases, gas plates operating from import gas cylinders are used. From time to time they need to be replaced. The performance of this work will require special attention, as well as compliance with certain conditions.

1
Prepare the following equipment:

  • Gas reducer, providing pressure at the output of 30 MBAR;
  • Metal cabinet for cylinders;
  • Transitional fitting ½ inches;
  • Gas crane;
  • Gas hose.

Also need material for sealing threaded compounds (fum-tape or flax), soap solution and keys.

2
For security reasons, the gas cylinder should be away from the stove. Usually, a metal cabinet is fixed from the outside of the wall of the kitchen, a through hole for a liner is performed. Behind the plate there is an entrance nozzle. If it exits vertically from the case, then you must first install the corner fitting using the winding, and then connect the hose to it. The other end of the hose is existed on the street. Next, the gearbox is mounted: until the stop is tightened with a cylinder adapter with mandatory thread sealing.

3
All actions should be made with a thorough inspection of each element for damage or clogging. After completion of the work, visually all executed connections and positions of adjustment handles on the plate panel should be closed. Now the cylinder crane slowly opens, with a good gearbox, hissing will be heard. We drag the soap solution and tassel (sponge) we wist all our connections. If there are skips, bubbles will immediately give it to know about it, the poor-quality winding will have to be corrected.

If everything is fine, you can turn on the stove and cook. All gas equipment should always be in good condition, and the right choice of the gas cylinder will help make a video story.
