How to connect a laptop to plasma

The usual viewing of your favorite movies on a laptop is pretty fed to the miniature screen sizes. Have a new plasma in stock and do not use the way to connect to it your portable computer - Lazy's lot. We will not like them, and consider the most progressive option, which will help to combine the laptop and plasma TV among themselves. You will need:

  • plasma with an HDMI port;
  • laptop with HDMI port;
  • cable with HDMI connectors.

1
If you are the owner of modern consumer electronics, then digitally connect between devices via an HDMI cable. This product is in demand and is not parted on the shelves of specialized stores. Cable with HDMI connectors are always available, and therefore, without thinking, go for the cord.

2
The cable is purchased, which means it has come to attach one end of the cable to a laptop, and the other to any HDMI entrance (depending on the plasma model there may be two, and three, and more).

3
Armed with a remote control from the TV, connect to the HDMI viewer. Having in the presence of several ports, select the menu that appears on the plasma screen, the required sequence number.

4
Next, run the power button on the laptop, and when the system is loaded, experiment with the screen settings, fetching the size of the computer desktop under the plasma display dimensions. Change the monitor settings in the "Screen Resolution" window, selecting the "Multiple Screens" item, which will appear after the physical connection of the two elements of consumer electronics.

We looked at the most modern way to connect a laptop to plasma. Other options are left with the use of combined males (VGA - HDMI, HDMI - VGA, VGA - SCART, VGA - RCA) and adapters, but the result of such a connection leaves much to be desired.
