How to polish the glass on the clock

The new wristwatch has a transparent glass and impeccably polished. But some time passes-and scratches appear on the glass of your favorite accessory. Although you wore it like carefully and did not throw it anywhere, but due to damage, the appearance of the watch became unattractive. But you should not be upset about this, we will tell you how to get scratches and polish the glass again.

1
First you need to determine what material the glass was made in the watch. It can be made of organic glass - this is the cheapest and most common option. The real glass is less commonly found and the most expensive is the sapphire glass. The cheaper the material, the easier it is to remove the scratch from it, and with glasses of high hardness you will have to tinker.

2
Before starting work, purchase a paste for polishing in the store. In this case, Pasa Goi is good. You will also need cloths of different thicknesses, cotton wool, alcohol and a grinding machine with a polish circle. When you have prepared all this, you can start work.

3
If you want to polish the glass in the clock, it would be better to remove it from the case, but if you do not risk getting it yourself, then this is not a problem, you can polish and so, only for convenience, remove the strap or bracelet. You will not need a grinding machine for polishing organic glass. Apply goy paste on a soft cloth, put it on a flat surface and, without pressing, polish the glass in circular motions until complete transparent. If you could not find a goy paste, then use the toothpaste and do the same. Just do not take with a whitening effect so as not to damage the glass even more. After polishing, wipe it with a cotton swab, slightly moistened in alcohol. It will well dissolve the remaining pasta of the goy on the glass.

4
If you want to polish natural glass, then it will be difficult to do this work without a grinding machine. Put a polishing circle on the machine, apply goy paste on it and turn it on at small speeds. Then, slightly pressing the glass to the circle, polish it. Moreover, it is necessary to polish from the edge of the glass to the center. When you have achieved transparency, apply a few drops of mineral oil to the cloth and polish the glass in a circular motion until you achieve complete transparency. Then remove the rest of the pasta with alcohol.

5
The sapphire glass has a large hardness index and at the same time rather fragile. It is difficult enough to scratch, but it happens that the clock is in close contact with a nail file, and then the scratches are guaranteed. If you run the risk of cleaning scratches yourself from expensive glass, then for polishing you will need a diamond pasta. Apply it to the polishing circle of a grinding machine and then do it as it was written about natural glass. Just observe the maximum accuracy with fragile glass.

As you can see, there is nothing particularly complicated when polishing glass on the clock. Try it, and you will succeed - as they say, your eyes are afraid, and your hands do.
