The 1C platform is partly automated, however, you yourself need to download updates through the official website and install them. The process is quite simple and performed by two methods. For the entire instruction, you will take no more than 5-10 minutes, and the experience gained will come in handy and reduce your time to work with updates at times.
How to update the 1C platform: the first method
All pumping is carried out exclusively through the 1C website in Russia: https://portal.1c.ru/applications
At the same time, you must have paid and registered the current version of the program. If the 1C programmer performed the main configurations, then it is better not to change them yourself, since because of the small experience with the program you can harm it, or bring down the configuration at all.
Go to the site specified above and enter the login and password. They must be indicated on the documentation from ITS, or in your email. It is quite dangerous to forget this data, but you can restore it by the “Forgot Password” button.
Entering the system, select a small point “Personal Account” in the site’s header.
You will be transferred to the account settings. First of all, you need to check the registration: if you do not have it, then there is a chance that the system simply does not accept the update and configuration.
When registering your data, you will have to indicate both the organization and its actual address.
Now go back and pay attention to the “Typical configurations of the 1C for Russia” tab. Current program updates will be shown here. Click on the name.
The table on the site will indicate all versions of the program, release date, updates. As a rule, the highest line is the latest update. Click on the name in the column “version number” to download.
The new window will present complete information on the update:
- By the link “New in version” you will find out what changes have affected the program;
- The “update procedure” will show you the process of installing the update;
- The “update distribution” is the installer that you need at the moment. Click on this link.
Now click on the line “Download Distribution”.
A conservation window will appear on top of the browser, agree with all the conditions.
As soon as the installer downloads, click on it twice. This must be done with an administrative account, but not with a guest. The installation will begin instantly. Wait for its end.
As soon as you see a window with a notification of the end of the installation of the program, everything is finished. You can use the updated program.
How to update the 1C platform: the second method
There is another way to update directly through the program, which involves maintaining a backup of the configuration, which will save all your data in case of error or other problem. This is a little longer, but definitely safer for your enterprise.
First, follow the first few points from the first step of the article: go to the official website and download updates. Then come out and run the 1C configurator.
Find the “Administration” tab in the program cap and click on the “Unload information base” item. This is necessary to save data.
Then go to the “configuration” - “support” - “update the configuration”.
You will be offered two options: automatic search for updates and manual. Choose manual, as you have already downloaded the right update.
Find your downloaded file in the folder and click on it. Agree with the agreement by clicking on the “Continue Update” button.
Leave all the settings and click “OK”.
You just have to agree with the conditions for the spread of the update, click on “continue”. Now you will use an updated configuration, but leave the opportunity to return the old one, as you have a configuration.
