The update of the IOS operating system is very desirable because it will help to significantly expand your iPhone functionality. You can do this in two ways: wireless (via WiFi) and using the iTunes application. We will analyze in more detail the iPhone OS update method.
1
Let's start with the preparatory activities. These include backing up the phone data using iTunes and checking the availability of free space in the gadget memory to install updates. The latter is easy to check by selecting "Settings" in the menu, and from them through the "main" go to "Use". If the places for updates are clearly not enough, simply release it by removing the content unnecessary to you or run the update process through the iTunes application.

Now go to the first way to update the iPhone - wireless. It is the easiest way, since you only need to connect the phone to the power (so that it is not discharged during the procedure) and activate the WiFi connection. After that, through the "Settings" and their section "Main" go to subsection "Update by". It already choose "Download and Install" - and download updates will start automatically. Then you press the "Set" (or "later" if you want to stop the procedure slightly). Perhaps before installing the system will ask you for your password (if your phone has protection).

The second method of updating the iPhone via iTunes will already require a gadget to the computer on which the latest version of this application is installed. After connecting the phone to the computer (via a USB cable), find your phone in "devices" in iTunes. On the Overview tab, select "Believe Updates" and, if available, run the update and installation in the appropriate paragraph.
In the process of installing updates, your iPhone can reboot several times - this is a completely normal phenomenon and is not worried about this.
