Opera is a very convenient browser who loved many users. It is fast, light, functional, has a large number of settings, therefore it is one of the most popular Internet access tools. But at the same time, a situation is often found when the opera “slows down”. You should not put up with this, but you need to solve the problem.

To solve this problem, you should reinstall the program and conduct a general cleaning of system folders. So, consider everything in order. If you have the necessary bookmarks that you do not want to part with, you should save them in a special folder. Go to the “bookmarks”, “bookmarks”, select “File”, “Export” or “Save as” and save to a separate directory with the Extension. Next, it must be copy and save in a safe place. The rest of the settings, of course, will be lost, but something must be sacrificed!

Now you can delete the opera (in a standard way or by applying a special Deinstal program). Further, actions will be considered using the example of Windows XP. It is necessary to make all the hidden system folders visible. In the properties of the hard disk, select the “Service”, “Objects of the folder”, go to the “View” tab, remove the box in additional parameters in the “Hide secure system files” checkbox and mark the point “Show hidden files and folders”.

Now proceed to cleaning itself. On the disk with the “Programs Files” and see if the opera has left. If not, delete it manually. Now go to the disc with, “Documents and settings”, “computer name”, “Application Data”, find and delete the “Opera” folder. Then again go to the disc with, “Documents and settings”, “Account Name”, “Local Settings”, “Application Data” and also delete the “Opera” folder. For Windows 7, the following actions should be performed. You can open access to system, hidden folders through the "conductor". Now go to the address line of the conductor at “C: \\ Users \\ User \\ Appdata \\ Local” and delete the “Opera” folder.
