Quilling is the art of paperwork, with the help of which you can create butterflies, colors, paintings, jewelry, volumetric compositions from strips of colored paper. Before you start mastering quilling, prepare all the necessary materials and tools. It is especially carefully necessary to approach the choice of paper - it should be slightly dense, colored on both sides. You can buy ready -made tapes. You will also need:
special quilling tool;
paper;
tweezers;
cork board;
english pins;
scissors (better figured);
pVA glue;
ruler;

cardboard for the basis of the picture.

Cut the paper into flat strips 3-10mm wide. Quilling tool can be done independently. To do this, put a needle with a broken end to a cork or a pencil with an elastic band at the end. Take one colored strip and draw a fingernail along it, so it is slightly twisting and at first it will be easier to succumb to processing.

Pass the paper into the cutting of the tool, leaving it to appear from the other hole 4-5 mm. It is better to hold paper with your left hand, and the tool is right. When holding a strip with index and thumb, begin to gradually wind the paper. After you completely wound up, do not remove your fingers right away, briefly fix the paper so that it “remembers” the shape of the circle. Let go of the strip.

The paper is slightly spinning after you remove it from the tool. Do not be alarmed, it should be so. As a result of these simple movements, a round spiral is obtained, the shape of which can be changed at will. If you pinch the spiral on one side, you can get a drop, leaflet, if on both sides - the shape of the eye. Distinguish a closed and open spiral. Paper with glued ends is called closed.

Consider the process of manufacturing a simple flower. From 6-7 arbitrary tapes, form a spiral, give them the shape of a drop. For the middle of the flower, take one fourth part of the strip and tightly wrap it on the tool. Then, without removing it from the awl, apply glue to the end of the tape and glue it. For such small elements for applying glue, it is better to use a toothpick. Remove a short tape from the tool.

Using tweezers, take the petal, apply glue to its sharp end and glue to the core. Thus, collect all the petals. The formation of the flower is carried out on a flat surface of the cork board and try to carefully work with glue so that the details do not stick to the working surface.

You can make several such flowers, create a whole bouquet of them and glue it on white cardboard. A full -fledged picture is ready.
