The migration card is a special document that is intended to collect information about foreign citizens crossing the border of the state without a visa (if it is permitted by law). Usually they are issued during the passage of border control and must be at the owner throughout the entire time staying in the country.

How to fill in a migration card of Russia?

For each state, the migration card will differ, although their general format is similar. The document filled with the entrance to the Russian Federation consists of two parts. They are separated from each other so that one part remains at the owner, and the second was transferred to the authorized employees on the border. The rules for filling the migration card should be reduced to that:

the form is filled with a personally owner of documents that are transferred to the document;
the map must include its signature;
the data is made in blue, purple or black paste, printed letters;
if the country entering does not know the Russian language, the use of Latin letters is allowed, with the introduction of information similarly to a passport;

if the document is lost, within 3 days a foreign citizen must contact service of the UFMS.to restore a migration card.
