Of course, there should be no signs of damage. You should not take small potatoes, despite the assurances of the sellers, that these are seed roots, it is not. Just this is something that failed to implement like food potatoes. Also focus on the timing of purchase and landing, if you take potatoes immediately before landing, it makes sense to take a slightly sprouted. If the landing is still far away, then take elastic potatoes without signs of germination.

Prefer the varieties that are successfully grown in your area. Admitted Dutch or German varieties, in spite of everything, should be tested by time in your climatic conditions. Otherwise, spending a large amount of money and the main force, you will get a weak harvest.
