To create a tape LED backlight, you will need a panel base (wooden plywood or aluminum profile), power supply, blue and red LEDs. To begin with, the selected panel thoroughly clean and degrease. Next, cut the LED ribbons between the attack sites into pieces of the desired size. The resulting fragments are connected using a special connector. Then remove the protective adhesive coating on the reverse side of the tape and tightly press to the prepared base. Consider that the alternation of two red and one blue diode is optimal for the coverage of seedlings. After that, connect the backlight to the power supply and install it above the plants.
Important nuance: LED lamps can not be connected directly to the power grid! To highlight this type, a special power supply is required that converting alternating current into a permanent one, or a driver equipped with a stabilizer to protect the design from the voltage drops.
