How to extend the contract

Both legal and individuals are often faced with the need to extend the term of the previously concluded contract. Continue cooperation and strengthen mutually beneficial contractual relations can be in several ways.

You can provide in advance to automatic prolongation of the contract. To do this, include the proposal that, in the absence of notice from one of the parties, to terminate the contractual relations to the contract will be considered extended to the next calendar year. Parties that concluded an agreement with such a wording do not have to sign additional documents, exchange originals, this will allow you to significantly save time.

There is an opportunity to extend the contract by exchange of letters. At the same time, in the main agreement, the correspondence of the parties should be declared legally significant. The side initiating the extension of the term should be sent to his partner a letter indicating the prolongation period. Please note that when using such a method, there is a risk of falsifying the presence of such a letter or challenging the fact of its receipt of the unscrupulous side.
