First of all, it is worth checking if everything is necessary to connect. In the system block of the computer, a network card must be installed, a power supply, a DSL wire and a mini-DSL, patchcord, splitter will be needed for the modem.

We collect them as follows:

  • we connect the power supply to the small connector itself, the labeled Power or 12V 0.5A inscription;
  • inserting the plug into the socket, we are looking for the ON \\ OFF button on the housing, click it, including the modem (the corresponding indicator should turn around);
  • patchcord connect with any LAN port (maybe one or more) on the modem, the second ends - with the network card of the system unit;
  • another indicator should turn around, indicating a good card, wire and the established connection between devices;
  • next, connect the modem to the line, one part of the mini DSL wire connecting with a telephone socket, and the second is in the Slitter's socket with the signature "line";
  • telephone apparatus connect with another splitter socket, indicated by the signature "Phone";
  • now connect a large DSL-wire connector to the "Line" splitter connector, and the second end is the modem port signed by the letters "DSL".

After that, it will only be necessary to configure the modem on the PC through the web form. To do this, run any browser, enter in the address bar 192.168.1.1 (or other IP, if it has been previously assigned) and enter the login \\ password from the admin panel.
