Let's get together a small vase, weaving technique is simple.

To work, you need to cook:

  • newspaper tubes;
  • bottle or jar;
  • dense cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • glue, brush and acrylic paints.

How to weave:

  • The width of the newspaper strip for this tube should be 10 cm. Twisted the tubes, the edges are fixed with glue, lay the blanks to the side.
  • Now you need to take a bottle, jar or plate of the desired diameter, put on a sheet of cardboard, circle and cut a circle. You need to make 2 circles.
  • Each long blank should be cut into 2 parts (if you made tubes from a regular newspaper, A3 format).
  • On the reverse side of the cardboard blank you need to wash on the edge of the glue and start gluing the tubes in a circle in a step of approximately 1 cm.
  • Now we welt glue from the wrong side the second cardboard circle along the edge, glue from above on newspaper tubes. Pretty pressed, put something heavy on top, leave for 10-15 minutes.
  • We take a new workpiece, we glue the tip on the cardboard circle and begin to catch the "wave" newspaper tubes. Gradually, as we advance, you need to raise up the workpiece.
  • Thus, you need to scream in a circle until a vase is obtained.
  • Little trick: the tubes can be connected to each other without the help of glue, but insert one to another and continue weaving.
  • When the main tubes are braided, it is necessary to leave a length of 5 cm long, glue from the wrong side with glue and wrap the workpiece inside. For the reliability of fixation, you can use conventional clothespins.
  • Vase is almost ready, there are some more strokes: you need to paint the vase in the desired color on both sides: facial and internal. Let the paint get dry.
