Despite the exceptional utility, many users of ONE DRIVE may simply be needed. Since it is also available in Windows 10, being in the notification area and run when loading, it will be reasonable to disable it to speed up the computer (and other purposes). Since the actions for different versions of the "dozens" are slightly different, we will talk about each of them separately. For Windows 10 HOME, we do the following steps:

  • in the tray we find the "One Drive" service icon;
  • click on it right mouse button;
  • select from the pop-up menu item "Parameters";
  • in the window that appears, remove the mark from the string "Automatically run onedrive at the entrance";
  • immediately, you can turn off the cloud synchronization if you press the "Delete connection to oneDRIVE" button;
  • apply the changes, close the window;
  • to remove ONEDRIVE from the conductor, launch the registry editor;
  • click Win + R hotkee, in the "Run" line enter the command regedit;
  • click "OK", the registry editor opens;
  • in the left part find the way HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \\ CLSID \\ (018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6)and go to it to the final folder;
  • on the right side we are looking for a parameter System.IspinnedtonameSpaceTree;
  • click on it right-click, select "Change";
  • change the value from one to zero;
  • for 64 discharge systems: in the same way change the parameter in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \\ WOW6432Node \\ CLSID \\ (018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6 \\
  • we close the editor, reboot;
  • no synchronized files can now be found in C: \\ Users \\ Name_name_Bouch \\ ONEDRIVE.

Complete removal OneDrive in Windows 10

It is available for Windows and the version with the final removal of the service, but it is not recommended (the user may encounter difficulties if you subsequently want to return One Drive on a PC). If you are sure that the program you'll never come in handy doing this sequence:

  • to find the "Start" and type cmd, right-click on the command line;
  • run it as administrator;
  • turn off OneDrive team taskkill / f / im OneDrive.exe;
  • remove programs, inscribing C: \\ System32 \\ OneDriveSetup.exe / uninstall (32-x);
  • or C: \\ SysWOW64 \\ OneDriveSetup.exe / uninstall (64-x).

If OneDrive turned on again, or appeared in the system - most likely Windows returned it with some updates.
