VARTA batteries. The label is applied to the upper cover of the battery and consists of two letters and seven digits. The first letter is the designation of the country of the manufacturer: E or G - Spain, H - Germany, S - Sweden, A - Austria, C - Czech Republic, F or R - France. The first number is the conveyor number. The second letter denotation is a shipping feature (E- for auto plants, V- for retail sales). The second number is the last digit in the year of manufacture. The third and fourth number is the month of production. Fifth and sixth number - day. The last digit indicates the shift number. For example: C3V112302. So, the acb is made at the factory in the Czech Republic, designed for retail. Manufacturing date on December 30, 2011. Bosch batteries. Full marking is similar to the marking of VARTA acB. Additionally, the marking is re-applied to the central part of the sticker located on the front side of the battery, and consists of a three-digit digital code. The first number is the last digit of the year of production, the following two is a month of production. For example: 009 - AKB issued in September 2010; 105 - May 2011.Remember that the battery is subjected to self-discharge processes from the moment of operation. With long-term storage, a self-discord can achieve such a mark that the battery will lose its operational characteristics. Therefore, it is better to immediately clarify the date of production of AKB from sellers in the store.
