How the disability pension is accrued

One of the reasons for retirement is disability. Basic concepts

Disability pension is monthly cash payments made by the state. The status of "disability" is established by the Medical Commission in a special order and is a prerequisite for the accrual of benefits. There are three types of pension provision for the category of persons under consideration:

1. Labor.
2. State.
3. Social.

Disability labor pension

The accrual of this type of benefit is carried out in accordance with Federal Law of the Russian Federation № 173. These payments can be calculated by people who have a minimum work experience and a document confirming the degree of disability I, II, III of the Group. In the case of a disease that led to disability, assistance is paid by the Pension Fund. If the injury is obtained directly in production - accruals are carried out by the Social Insurance Fund.

When calculating the benefits, the following factors are taken into account:

• summary insurance experience;
• the amount of insurance savings on the personal account of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation;
• a group of disability.

The minimum experience is determined based on the age of the disabled person and is shown in the figure below.

1. The incapacity of the physical face.
2. The disability of the 2nd and 3rd degree.

Accrual of state payments

The second way to accrue disability benefits is made on the basis of Law "On State Pension Provision in the Russian Federation". State pension is usually relied:

• vODD participants;
• servicemen;
• persons awarded the honors "resident of the blockade Leningrad";
• citizens who have become disabled as a result of a catastrophe (Chernobyl, etc.);
• cosmonauts.

For social benefit on disability, unemployed and persons who do not have official employment experience can be calculated. These categories of citizens also include children with disabilities and incapable since childhood. In other words, it receives all the disabled, which for any reason did not fall into the first two groups of providing disabled citizens. Features of social welfare of persons with disabilities

It is important to know that the rights to design a social pension are not limited to time. It is enough at any time to contact the Pension Fund with such documents:

• a statement by a disability retirement;
• passport;
• other confirmation documents (if necessary).
