When buying a game on a disk (CD or DVD), it does not occur with its installation - run the installation file - and everything can be played. But to save money, we often download games on the Internet through torrents. As a rule, surround games are placed in the form of ISO images of the disks with the game, that is, in the form of its exact electronic copy. Such a "virtual" disk format is convenient and rather distributed on the network, but for reading it, you need a "virtual" drive. The Daemon Tools program plays the role of such a drive.

The Daemon Tools program emulates (reproduces) an ISO image as if a physical disk with the game is inserted into the usual drive. Download the Daemon Tools program from the official developer site http://www.daemon-tools.cc/rus/downloads. or from a resource http://cwer.ws/sphinx/?s\u003dDaemon+Tools.. It is enough to download one of the versions of the program - Lite or Pro. It is better to download the free version of Lite, it does its job no worse than paid pro. The installation of the program is simple and does not require explanation - follow the instructions and click when required, the "Next" button.

After the installation is completed, in addition to ordinary discs, a new "virtual" disk (or several disks) will appear. Find it by opening the "My Computer" folder. At the bottom right to the tray, the Daemon Tools icon appears - a disk with a green or blue arrow inside. Press the left mouse button on it and in the program menu that opens, select the "Emulation" command. Check if all options are enabled, or click on All Options on. The program to work is ready. In the new version of the program, you can simply click the "Add image" button and select the ISO file with the game, then "mount".

Click on the left mouse button on the Virtual CD / DVD-ROM menu bar ("Virtual CD / DVD-ROM" ("Virtual Drives"), then on the Open Menu icon, "Drive 0: [x:] empty" ("no data"). At the first installation there will be only one drive. Select "Mount the image". A window will open with a list of image files that are downloaded in advance. Such files most often have the .iso, .mds extension, but there are other formats. Select the desired file, click the Open button. Now the game disk is mounted, it can be used as an ordinary "physical" disk.

If, after mounting the virtual disk, the autorun did not work and the window did not open up the game with an offer immediately, then start the installation yourself. Mounting was successful if the "virtual" disk appeared the download icon (in the program window at the bottom). Click on the right mouse button, in the context menu that opens, select Open. You can do it differently: open the "My Computer" folder, find the "Virtual Disc" created by you. On this disk, find the installation file named "Autorun" or "Setup". Now starts the installation of the game setting. Follow its instructions.
If during the game the presence of the disk in the drive is not required, then the "virtual" disk can be "unmounted," then delete. After installing the Daemon Tools program on your "desktop", a very convenient gadget will appear to manage the settings of this program, which allows you to install the game from an image without performing it to the disk.
