If for any reason you need to turn off the news service from Yandex, then you can do it with both a personal computer and through a smartphone just a couple of clicks.
Remove Yandex Zen in a computer browser
- Go to the Yandex browser and find the "Settings" field by clicking on the special button in the upper right corner.
- In the menu that opens, take a check mark opposite the phrase "Show in the new Dzen-tape of personal recommendations in the new tab." Here you can configure a few more functions for more comfortable use of the browser.
- Close Yandex and open it again - Zen's news tape disappeared!
Turning off Zen tape with tablet and phone
- In the mobile browser, find the "Settings" field by pressing three points in the upper right corner.
- Go down in the settings menu below and find the phrase "Show Zen in the notifications panel", remove the checkbox from it. So you turn off pop-up messages with news.
- Scroll down the menu even below and you will hug on the field "Display Tape Recommendations Yandex Zen", this tick also needs to be removed.
Now the Yandex Zen service is disabled in your browser, you can independently set the desired start page. Return a news feed back is possible at any time, returning the checkbox in these fields.
