  • if the child is gifted and attracts it specific areas of science, then it's time to think about admission to a lyceum or gymnasium;
  • take into account the location of the school (after all, in a rainy autumn or a cold winter, the child will be difficult to get to school);
  • find out reviews about school and teachers from mothers who have children learn in older classes.

Preparing a child for school

  • mathematical knowledge (the child should know the numbers from 0-9, to carry out their account in the reverse order, compare (more, less), fold and deduct within 1 tens);
  • alphabet (first-graders should get acquainted with letters before entering school, many educational institutions do not require teaching a child to read, but he should know the alphabet);
  • speech development (children should pronounce all the letters clearly, divide words by syllables, to easily call vowels and consonant letters, be able to solve ordinary riddles, retell the favorite fairy tale, to allocate the first and last letter in the Word, to learn the quatrain and couplet of children's songs);
  • know simple geometric shapes;
  • cut on punctures, glue and make simple appliqués.

Required documents

We draw your attention to the fact that since 2016, the enrollment of first-graders is carried out on the basis of their post's position. If parents want to give a child to another school, which is not included in their place of residence, then they are obliged to write a statement (applications are carried out from July 1 to September 5). If the place is free, then the child will be able to take to the desired school. Starting from January 20, parents have the right to apply for the arrival of first-grade school to school, for this you need to provide:

  • a copy of the child's birth certificate;
  • medical card child (form 029 / y);
  • photocopy of the passport of one of the parents or guardian;
  • application addressed to the director of the school (written by one of the parents).
