If there are no certain technologies necessary for the treatment of a patient in Russia, it can be directed to treatment abroad. For this, there will have to go through several commissions, the composition of which is approved by the Ministry of Health and Social Development.

People with the right to take advantage of the quota for state assistance can be obtained in the territorial Foundation for Social Security Talon for free travel to the place of treatment, in the opposite direction. To do this, to the Foundation should be provided:
a document that confirms the right to benefit;
mandatory Medical Insurance Policy;
direction from a medical institution with a signature of the Chief Specialist in this disease;
pension insurance certificate;
passport copies (first page, registration).
The Commission decides no longer than 10 days from the date of receipt of the application, another 10 days may take a decision on hospitalization in a specific medical institution. That is, the maximum term for obtaining a quota granting is 20 days.
