How to update bios

The motherboard in the computer binds together all its components: processor, RAM, hard drives and other components. So that all these devices can work in normal mode, it is necessary to provide them with support in the BIOS of the motherboard. However, the system unit can be formed from components released much later than the motherboard, and in the already existing Bios there are no information about them. To add it, you should update the BIOS.

When updating the BIOS of the motherboard, it is prohibited to turn off the computer. Otherwise, the motherboard will stop working. It is possible to correct such malfunctions with the help of special equipment.

You can update the BIOS in motherboards through the menu of the program itself. For this:

please download the BIOS file of the latest version to the Flesh-drive, you can find it on the official website of the motherboard manufacturer by entering its name;
after that, log in to the BIOS, select the update item (on different motherboards it may be called differently, for example, "Instant Flash", "EZ Flash", "Bios Flashback" or other);
after downloading the utility, select the new BIOS file and wait for the update procedure.

There are special utilities for the BIOS of the motherboard BIOS from Windows, for example, "AFUDOS", "AFLASH", etc. To do this, download and run the appropriate program from the manufacturer's website. You can update the BIOS by creating a special loading flash drive:

download the program, for example, "UnetButtin-win-549", run it;
select the distribution, type and name of the media, check the box near the "disk image" and select the file to update the BIOS, click OK;
after creating a flash drive, restart the computer and select the download from it;
BIOS will be updated automatically.

If the computer has been turned off during the BIOS firmware, or for some other reason, the BIOS information has been erased, and the motherboard does not respond to the inclusion, it will take the programmer to repair it - a special device for recording information directly in the BIOS chip.
