The "System Settings" option monitors the settings of the entire system. You can see it in the computer menu - it is located in the upper left corner. With this program, you will manage to configure keypad and mouse control, sharing options, printer, screen resolution, sound, accounts, etc.

If you do not find the desired settings, in the "System Settings" menu there is a "show all" button, which is located at the top. Press it - and the window opens with the full list of settings. If you want to quickly find the settings you need, enter the name in the search field. For example, if you want to configure the keyboard control, enter the word "keyboard". If you want to save energy, adjust the system in such a way that when it is inactive it goes into sleep mode. In "System Settings", select the "Energy Saving" icon. In the "Turn off the monitor after" item, check the box. After the set time of idleness of the displays is turned off. Even if your screensaver is installed on the display after turning off the display, it will not be played. Instead, IMAC will save energy.

When buying a new iMac, you need to update programs. In the settings you can find an option called "Updating programs".
