How to run a laptop from a disk via BIOS

In order to start a laptop from the disk, you need to change the order of loading devices. By default, the working laptop is the following order: Hard disk, DVD drive, flash drives, and so on. The CD may contain both the operating system installer program and a full-fledged mobile version of the operating system so that in the event of a laptop OS failure, it was possible to fix it or save important data before reinstalling the OS.

To enable booting from a CD, you need to go to the BIOS by clicking after switching on and before booting the operating system, the "Delete" button (DEL) or F2. Some laptops meet other input buttons in the BIOS, but they are so rare that they are rather an exception to the rules.

In the BIOS, select the tab "BOOT" or "BOOT MENU". If there are no such tabs - in the "Advanced" tab, you need to search for a "boot" or "boot priority" line. In the tab or in the Boot line, you should set the download order so that on the 1st place there is a drive.

After that, you need to press F10 and ENTER, or select the Save Settings and Reboot in the last tab, thereby saving new download pricing settings.

Insert the boot disk into the drive, now loading from the CD will be automatically produced. After carrying out all operations for which the download from the disk is needed, it is necessary to once again go to the BIOS and set the first boot from the hard disk. Make it need to more quickly download the operating system.

If the first in the queue is loaded from the DVD disk, then each time the laptop is turned on, the drive is first interviewed, and already after the computer understands that there is no disk or disk in the drive not bootable, loading from the hard disk. At the same time, the boot time of the operating system increases.
