  • The country of the issuer's bank.
  • Debit or loan card in front of you. Calculations on debit cards are made practically without restrictions, while the handling of credit cards has its own characteristics.
  • The status of the calculated plastic (Classic, Gold, Platinum).

Determining the payment system according to BIR

The first sign of the bank identifier determines the payment system to which the plastic card belongs. So:

  • "1" - payments on the calculated plastic is carried out by the JCB system.
  • "2" - the card is serviced by the world system.
  • "3" - plastic belongs to the system of American Express, JCB International or Diners Club.

  2. 30, 36, 38 - Diners Club;
  3. 31, 35 - JCB International.
  • "4" - Map maintenance produces Visa system.
  • "5" - payment transactions implements MasterCard or Maestro payments.
