How to make a wig for a doll

The doll is not a person, it does not change over time. But not everything depends on the manufacturer. You can transform her appearance yourself by making her a wig.

For work, we will need: model - in this case a doll; The sock is the basis of the wig; satin tape - future hair; Additionally: scissors, glue, brush, pencil, lighter.

We take the tape and cut the strips. The length of the strip is equal to the length of future hair. In each strip, slightly melt one short edge so that the threads do not blossom. From the other edge we begin to dissolve the tape, taking out the transverse thread.

So we reach the melted edge. Future strands are ready.

Preparation of the basis of the wig. We select the sock by the size of the head of the doll. We put on the toe on the head. We measure the required length and draw a pencil. Remove the toe and cut along the line. It turned out a piece of wig.

Making a wig. We put the toe on a blank, similar in size to the head of the doll. We begin to glue the prepared strands of hair from below, moving around the circle. We continue until the whole head is glued. Now take another strand of hair and glue it in the place where the doll will have a parting. It remains only to trim and comb the hair. The wig for the doll is ready.
