How to get a pharmacist certificate

A pharmacist certificate is a document that simultaneously confirms the level of knowledge of a specialist in the field of pharmaceutical activity and gives permission to work by the pharmacist. Before obtaining it, a special pharmaceutical education is necessary.

1
You can learn on pharmacists both in higher educational institutions and in specialized averages. Then after graduation, the postgraduate or additional vocational education should be completed. For those who graduated from the Higher Educational Institution, this is graduate school, ordinature or internship. For those who graduated from the secondary institution (technical school and college) - this is a separate pharmaceutical course in the amount of 144 hours or professional retraining in an amount of at least 500 hours.

2
After all these training, the future pharmacist has the right to receive a certificate. But this can be done only after passing the qualifying exams. Give certificates of state or municipal institutions that work in the field of pharmacy and have a statelice for issuing this document. Choosing such a institution, the future pharmacist submits the following documents to the admission committee:

  • Statement;
  • A copy of the diploma about the end of the educational institution;
  • Copies of documents confirming postgraduate education or the passage of additional courses;
  • An extract from the employment record;
  • Personal report of the applicant for the certificate about what experience in the field of pharmacy he has and what skills already acquired;
  • Copies of all previous certificates.

Assessing the subject will be the special commission created from specialists in the field of pharmacy and health care. The assessment is carried out in three main directions:

  • Written or computer tests in the specialty;
  • Control of practical skills;
  • Final interview.

The Commission decides on the issuance of a "majority of votes" pharmacist certificate. If the Commission is formed from the even number of people and the vote "for" and "against" divided equally, then the final decision on issuing a certificate is made in favor of the examined. If the commission does not suit the level of knowledge and preparation of the future pharmacist, then it appoints a new date of his certification.

The pharmacist certificate is issued for a period of 5 years, and after its completion, confirms his knowledge will have to be again. The procedure for re-obtaining a pharmacist certificate is identical to those described above.
