How to get a free apartment

It is hard to believe that now it is still possible to get a free roof over your head, but this is a fact. The state in 2005 approved the rules for obtaining public housing under a social hiring agreement.

Citizens who are recognized as poor and needed housing can be applied to receive such housing, with the condition that they are not at all owners of housing, or on each family member accounts for part of the living space less than the norm. In order to get to the queue for the public apartment, it is necessary to contact the housing department of the administration of your city with the following documents (originals and photocopies):

application for housing records written from all adult family members (forms to get in advance here, or find on the Internet);
applicant passports and family members living together;
certificates of the birth of minor children;
certificate of marriage (termination of marriage);
certificates of income of all family members;
Inn applicant and family members specified in the statement;
certificates of property subject to taxation;
help plan apartment from BTI;
extract from the housebook and a copy of the personal account;
documents on the right to obtain benefits.

If we are talking about Moscow, St. Petersburg or Sevastopol, in addition to the above documents, it is also necessary to provide certificates confirming that the last 10 years you have lived in this city.

After your documents are accepted, you will receive a receipt with the list of documents withdrawn and indicating the date of delivery. A month later, in case of a positive decision, you will receive a registered letter for housing records. If you refuse, you can go to court to challenge the decision.

Of course, the chance to get a free apartment takes on, but do not forget until you wait for it, it's necessary to live somewhere. Therefore, maybe you should pay attention to other options? Currently, there are state programs for subsidizing housing, social mortgages, support for young families. You can also save, having bought an apartment in the secondary market, but a new building, or move, say, from Moscow somewhere in the suburbs.
