How to enable built-in microphone on a laptop

Bought a laptop, and here a failure - the microphone is silent. And in the configuration it is. The first idea that there is no sound because of the breakdown. It happens, but not very often. Most likely, it's a matter of unidentified drivers (special programs for the microphone) or in the laptop settings.

1
Turn on a computer device. Making a check "firewood" on the sound card. To do this, we are looking for a "Start" menu "Device Manager" and open the "Sound Video and Gaming Devices". If in the latter noticed the signs of the punctuation of yellow color, then safely reinstall the drivers.

2
If everything is fine with the software, then the reason is in the settings. Again, we go to the "Start", then the "control panel", clay "sounds and audio devices", click on the "Audio" tab, looking for the "Record" tab and use the default device.

3
Further we are looking for a "volume", for this we go: "Start"> "All Programs"> "Standard"> "Entertainment" and "Volume". We read where the "Mixer's Volume" is written. Click on the "Advanced" button. Opens the window, click on "Parameters", select the "properties" and the cursor put the bird to the "microphone", support this action "OK".

4
Then in the "Total Volume" window, the slider will be displayed to control the volume of the microphone volume. Cursor remove the label with "Off". We make the volume setting for yourself.

5
If the settings are ready, and the microphone does not start, you are not lucky. You have to give a laptop to the service center. Or buy an external USB microphone, the built-in microphone must be turned off at all.

After this manual, it will be easy to enable and establish the operation of the built-in microphone on your device.
