In which countries the death penalty

The death penalty is the highest penalty of the crimes defined in the legislation. All those who have reached the age of 18 (for some countries it is 16 years old, in the USA - 12-17 years), can be sentenced to death. The list of states in which currently resort to such a social protection is quite wide. However, those that completely eradicated this phenomenon are allocated from the total number. Among them are Russian Federation, Ukraine, Spain, France and others. But those states remained, where the death penalty is still widely used.

Middle East and Asia countries: Israel, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, China, Mongolia, Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and others. In these states, the death penalty is massively used by the time of centuries. It is presented for certain types of crimes, among them: inciting war, betrayal, war crimes and atrocities against the Motherland (Israel), bribery and pimp (China), all related to drugs (Southeast Asia). Belorussia is the only country in the CIS and Europe, where this type of punishment is still widespread.
