Vienna is an amazing city, not only the capital of Austria, but also one of the land included in the Federation Federation. Located Vienna in a very picturesque place on the shore of the Danube at the foot of the Alps. The history of the city has more than 25 thousand years since the emergence of small settlements in the territory of the modern city. The most interesting sights of Vienna are located on Ringstraße Boulevard, where in the place of the former fortification fortifications who previously defended the city center were built by the State Vienna Opera, Town Hall, the Parliament Building, Exchange, University. Ringstrasse was solemnly opened in May 1865. A fascinating trip can be made on a tram or ancient phyakre, which run along the entire boulevard.

The most famous palace complex in Vienna - Belvedere, built in the 18th century as the residence of the commander of Evgenia Savoy. Later in the palace was created the only alpine garden on the territory of Europe. To date, part of the palace complex is assigned to the picture gallery, the exposition of which includes unique canvas of painting masters of 19-20 centuries. Every year, the famous Christmas Bazaar is held in Belvedere.

The pride of Vienna is the Vienna Opera, famous for the whole world, opened in the 19th century. The opera was the most popular holiday destination at the metropolitan aristocrats and annual balls, the tradition of which was preserved to this day. The opera building was practically destroyed during World War II, but the modern Viennese opera causes the constant admiration of the inhabitants and guests of the capital.

On the territory of the Schönbrunn Palace there is a zoo, which has almost 4-century history. In 1570, in his place there was a beser, and already in 1752, a full-fledged zoo was built on the orders of the Emperor Franz, which contained 3,500 beasts. Many of them died during the First World War, and after World War II, about 400 animals were left. To date, the Vienna Zoo is fully restored and is considered to be the best in Europe. The main pride of the zoo is the rainforest Borneo, in which the natural habitat is recreated for a variety of exotic birds, animals and plants.

In 2001, a museum quarter was created in Vienna in the territory of 6 ha, which united museums, books and souvenir shops, various cultural institutions in one huge complex. The architectural solution is made in the style of Baroque with elements of modernity. The author of the project is Laurids Ortner. The museum quarter is the constant venue of the famous international film festival "Viennala" and other socio-cultural events and holidays. Special attention deserves the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cunsthalle, Architectural Center for Vienna, Children's Museum and Children's Theater.

Modern Vienna is the cultural capital not only Austria, but also all of Europe. In addition to unique architectural monuments, there are representative offices of many international organizations - UN, OSCE, IAEA. Every year, Vienna attend millions of tourists from different parts of the world.
