How to photograph a laptop camera

Most modern laptops have a built-in webcam. And it would be logical to assume that such a camera, having the ability to transmit a video image, can make a simple photograph. But if the external cameras have a special button for this, the camera on a laptop does not have such buttons. So how is the camera on a laptop to make a simple photograph?

In order to make a photograph, we need a program that comes with your laptop. Open the Start menu, then "All Programs" - "Camera".

In the settings menu, set the sizes of the picture and the necessary parameters. If more detailed settings are required, such as contrast, brightness and other, open the "Properties" tab and set the desired parameters.

Select the camera icon in the "Select Shooting Mode" menu. If you need to make a photograph without self-timer, you should press a round button, which is located in the lower right corner of the program. Then we find the captured snapshot in the Image folder.

We use standard Windows operating system to make a photograph. Go to the "Start" menu, select the "Control Panel". Next, we find "scanners and cameras". In the list of devices available for laptop, choose the camera. Sometimes it is recognized as an unknown USB device.

In the window that opens, click the "Remove" button. The button, as a rule, is located below the camera viewfinder. The picture taken will be visible in the window to the right of the camera viewfinder. We highlight the resulting picture, click the "Next" button. In the window that appears, enter the name of the photo and save it to the required folder.

Photographs can be obtained using the Paint program. Open the Paint folder and select the "Get from the Scanner or Camera" in the menu. Next, perform the actions described in paragraph 5. Photos obtained by this method, you can edit the Paint program.

It should be remembered that when reinstalling the operating system on a laptop you need to re-install the camera driver. Since the built-in camera in this case will not be identified. Drivers can be installed from a disk or downloading them from the manufacturer's website.
