Download and installation R Studio
- Downloading the program is available on the official website http://www.r-studio.com. Go to it and choose your operating system in the right window.
- On the next page, click “Download for ...” and save the installer.
- During the installation, in addition to the most banal procedures, you will see such a window. It warns you that installing the program on the disc that you are going to restore is not recommended. This applies to all recovery programs, and you should not forget about it.
- If you want to restore your hard drive, then click on the “Parameters” button to familiarize yourself with the instructions for changing the hard drive.
- After the installation is completed, you need to click “Demo”, since the full version of the program is paid.
- On this, the installation of R Studio is over. You can use all the functions of the program.
How to scan discs in r Studio
The uniqueness of the program is that it is able to restore files even in a long -formatted disk, or in a disk that has changed the format at all.
On the left you will see a complete list of all carriers of information connected to the computer. For an example, we will scan a local hard drive.
- Click on the device with the right button and in the drop -down window select the “scan” item.
- The scan tuning window will open. In it, you will already learn new data about your disk, for example, if the “disk size” line costs zero, then, most likely, your disk is faulty at all.
- Leave the parameters unchanged and press the “scanning”.
- You can follow the scan in the right window. Gradually, colored markers will appear in the squares, you will find all the decryptions of color at the bottom of the screen.
- Do not touch the program if possible, while scanning is performed. Do not launch applications and a browser, it is better to leave the computer and take up other things.
How to restore files in r Studio
After scanning, you can restore all the files found by the program.
- New sections will appear on the left. One of them is called “Found by signatures”. Click on this section to see what you managed to restore.
- On the left, folders in the form of a catalog will be displayed by clicking on any of them, you will see its contents on the right.
- Find the files that you need and click on them with the right mouse button.
- In the list that appears, click “Restore”.
- Set recovery parameters based on your goals. Then click “Yes”.
- Choose a file saving directory. Please note that saving files for a damaged disk is not recommended.
- The procedure will take only a few seconds, the restored files will immediately appear in the specified directory.
- Keep in mind that the demo version has a lot of restrictions on the quantity and volume of restored files.
