Wireless networks are the ability to conveniently connect to the Internet without additional cable laying. The router (or router) is a compact substation, the main task of which is transmitted to the connected devices received from the signal network.
Unfortunately, even modern technologies give a failure in work. But even when your device works properly, it may be necessary, for example, a password change or wireless network name. In all listed cases, you will need to go to the router settings and make certain actions. The TP LINK router control panel is located at 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
TP LINK Settings: Using a Personal Computer
- Using a network cable, install the computer router connection. To do this, one end of the cord is connected to a personal device, and the other to the router. To connect to the router, use any of the LAN connectors (yellow outlets).
- Specify the address specifically your router. To do this, turn over the device and on the back of the left, find the IP string and see the subsequent combination of numbers. In some models of the device, the address of the tplinklogin.net domain or TPLinkWiFi.net is registered instead of the usual digits. Then remember this address.
- Open any browser on your PC and in the search bar, you prescribe the IP address (or domain) data.
- Jump ENTER.
- A window will appear, in which the login and password must be made. Watch this information again on your router. It is listed below the IP address (or domain). Standard data "Admin" and "Admin". If you have previously changed the data to enter the router settings, then enter the already modified information.
- Jump the ENTER (or "Login" again.
- Before you will appear the desired settings.
TP LINK settings: Using Wi-Fi Wireless Network
This method will help if you need to get into the router control panel, but there is no network cord or a computer. Important note When working with the device settings for Wi-Fi, do not update the software, otherwise you risk breaking the device. The router firmware is carried out only with the use of cable connection.
- On the reverse side of the router, learn data for connecting the IP address, login and password.
- Next, run the browser on any gadget (telephone, tablet, laptop) associated with a Wi-Fi connection router.
- In the search string, enter the IP addresses (or domain address).
- Carry out the transition.
- In the window that appears, fill in the "Login" and "password" fields. To do this, enter the appropriate data of your router (standard "Admin" and "Admin").
- Click "Log in".
- If everything was done correctly, you will open the page of the desired settings.
TP LINK Settings: Possible Problems
In some cases, the implementation of the actions listed above does not bring the desired result. What are the possible causes of failures?
It is not possible to open the page
After specifying the IP address and the transition attempt on the screen, a message appears that the browser cannot display the page. In this case, it is necessary:
- Check availability of Internet connections. In the status bar on your computer (or mobile device) there must be a bonding icon with the Internet.
- Check on a PC or other gadget, with which you are trying to access the settings of the router, network settings.
- When installing a wired connection, check the integrity of the cable. If possible, try connecting to Wi-Fi.
- If your computer is active and Wi-Fi connection and connection via a network cord, disconnect one of the communication methods.
- Do not exclude the possible breakdown of the router itself.
- If the listed actions did not give the desired result, try resetting the router settings to the factory (clamp the RESET button on the back of the router and keep it in such a position of about 10 seconds).
Invalid login and password
An error may occur at the input stage of the login and password (or the entry of this information does not lead to any further events). In this case:
- Relieve different options for the entrance. If you changed data, enter new information, and not standard data. Leave both fields empty and try to enter. Leave without filling the string "Password" or try to enter a combination of 1234 into it.
- Change the browser.
- If the actions were not crowned with success, most likely have to reset the settings (as described above).
