Installing travel cards for android
Yandex provides all users to download and install cards absolutely free. If your navigator works on the Android operating system, the installation of cards is as follows:
- 1 step - Connect the Navigator to Wi-Fi and find the Google Play application on the screen;
- 2 step - in the search bar, suck "Yandex.Maps" (in the search results you will find a red "icon", like a comma);
- 3 step - click on "download" and wait for the process to complete;
- 4 step - after the image appears on the navigator screen, click on it;
- 5 step - for the first time the application will ask for permission to your geodan, you need to click "Allow";
- 6 step - in the application menu will be offered the capabilities of the card, read them and click "Next";
- 7 step - the application will ask you for permission from you, send you useful notifications or not (this item you choose a choice for piles: "Allow" or "Not Now");
- 8 step - pass the authorization, enter the login and password (if you are not early not registered, pass the simple registration, fill in the "Name and Surname" graph, come up with a login and secret question);
- 9 Step - click on "ready" and Yandex.Maps are installed in your navigator.
Installing cards to Navigators with Windows CE
Yandex takes care of all its users, so makes it possible to install travel cards to navigators that work on Windows CE. The installation process is not as simple as for the operating system android and requires more laborious work.
- 1 step - On the computer, go to the official page of the Yandex Card and download the application for Windows CE (Abbreviated Win CE);
- 2 step - unzip the downloaded file and send the entire folder to your navigator;
- 3 step - in the navigator menu, locate the resulting folder (you can use the file manager to search for the search);
- 4 Step - Click on the resulting file, the automatic maps will start.
After the cards were installed on the navigator, go to the menu and in the search bar (indicated by the magnifier), write the place or organization you need, check whether the new application works correctly. The main advantage of Yandex card is that you can find the required place in the off-line mode.
If the application is not loaded for a long time, we advise you to turn off the navigator and turn it on in a couple of minutes. Re-entry take 5 minutes after the device is turned on. In case of incorrect operation of the downloaded application, inform the malfunction to the official developer.
