Fastener

Wires

After completing the installation of the sensor, the most complex part of the installation of a cycomputer is occurring - placing wires on the frame. If they are incorrectly placed, they will not only affect the beauty of the means of movement, but also start contact with neighboring mechanisms. This leads to problems with repair, as well as to wear in places of contact.

From the very beginning of the installation, calculate the length of the wires. For this, without loading the fork, the wires lead to the device itself and add about 15% of the resulting length in case of error in the calculations. Then the wire is cut off and the contacts are fixed - they simply screw them from the mounting side on the fastener. Only after all these manipulations occurs the time of installation of wires.
There are two ways for mounting:

Problems after installation

1. The cycle computer does not respond to the inclusion. First, in this case, it is recommended to check the batteries. Some devices consume a lot of energy and charge elements in them require frequent replacement. It is also recommended to make a reconfiguration, because after discharge a cycle computer can reset all user installations.
2. Incorrect speed display. Incorrect sensor data, jumps and other inadequate reflections of numbers - a consequence of the erroneous installation of the magnet and the germe. When driving, especially on an uneven road, the magnet moves and the sensor fixes its approach not every time. Check it raising the bike and twist the front wheel.
3. If in the process of the computer from time to time "will not notice" a magnet, it is raised higher and fastened more reliable.
