How to use the Google cloud.Disk
One of the most popular cloud storages is Google Drive. It guarantees 5 GB. Free space for any personal needs, easily expanded up to 25 GB. In just 2.5 dollars (and more). How to use it? First you need to register a Google account. If you already have mail to Gmail - its data will be suitable. If not, fill everything you need fields by reference And click "Next." Access and storage management can be performed through a special program installed on the PC. Being on the disk webpage:
- we are looking for at the bottom and on the left button "download for PC";
- in the next window, click "Take Terms and Install";
- the installation process will begin;
- when it is completed, click on the "Close" button;
- we launch the installed program and click on the "Login" button;
- fit login (email address) and password, and click on "Log in" again;
- in a new window, click "Forward" - the program will notify us that the data from the Google disk will be synchronized with the selected folder on the PC;
- if you select "Extended Settings", you can change the name and location of the folder on the hard disk, as well as allow \\ to prohibit autorun after the PC is turned on;
- click on "synchronize", after that the configuration is over.
Further, any documents placed in the Favorite folder will be transferred to the cloud. You can use them online or on any other computer if you enter data for authorization. The same is true and vice versa - by placing documents in Google Drive, you can easily take them on your home PC.
How to use Yandex cloud. Disk on computer and online
The "cloud" storage from Yandex works by analogy with Google Drive. We register on yandex.ru by clicking the "Mail" button and filling out the appropriate form. When the account is created, the "Disc" button will be available in the upper right corner. The program for managing files can be downloaded to the PC, for this, with the main disk window, press the "Windows" button and pass all the standard steps of the installation. When the installation is completed, a folder with Yandex Disc documents will appear on the home computer. In the program settings you can choose:
- on the "Main" tab: Run when you turn on the PC and the path to the file folder;
- on the tab "Account": login, password, the number of the remaining GB;
- "Synchronization" - display a list of all folders placed on the Yandex disk and synchronized with a hard disk (can be turned off by removing the daws, and vice versa);
