If you have bought a zyxel keenetic router, then you will not be able to use the Internet network immediately, as it requires your manual setting. The main steps that you need to perform are: Copy your MAC address, configure Wi Fi connection, set your username and password, as well as other connection security options. The best solution will be familiar with the instruction that goes in the configuration with the router. You will need ten minutes of free time and full access to the Internet cable to switch it from the router to the computer.
To begin with, you need to connect the Internet cable to that computer from which you are going to configure. If you have already used the Internet from it, then this action can not be performed.Now connect the cables as follows:
- Internet Swipe to the router in a special hole, which is located separately from the rest.
- LAN Cable One end Connect to a computer, and another to the router in any connector that can be somewhat, depending on your Zyxel Keenetic model.
- Turn on the router by pressing the large button on the back side.

You have to open the login window. If one did not change the sharing settings on your router before, the default username "admin" without the quotes, and the password is "1234".

- Network protection must be "WPA2-PSK" if you want to set the password so that the neighbors do not have the ability to connect.

- Install the checkboxes in the last two points.
Click "Apply".
Go to the "System" section. From the drop-down list, select "Password".
- Enter twice a new password from your router. Do not forget to record it and store in a safe place, otherwise it will be difficult to restore access.
Now click "Apply".
You have completed the main setting of the ZyXEL Keenetic router and you can insert the remaining LAN wires from the computers. Remember that you can change the Wi Fi settings at any time, in particular, the password from the wireless network and its name. If you change the main computer, whose Mac address is copied to the router, then you need to perform this setting re-from another computer.
